Greetings ministry partners!

I can hardly believe nearly four years have elapsed since I was interviewed by World Net Daily and broke the news that we would be filming pilot programs in October, 2014 from a new studio in Missouri. The shows would be syndicated for cable channels nationwide and the new ministry network would be called SkyWatch TV.

I told reporter Leo Hoffman at the time that our hope for SkyWatch was “to create an edgy, investigative TV program that isn’t afraid to cover controversial topics of interest to Christian viewers.”

“It’ll be almost like a Christian version of ’20/20,’” I said. “If you’ve seen Raiders News, it’s just different. We probably do a lot of shows others would be afraid to touch.” [i]

Of course, “Raiders News” became “SkyWatch TV” and most of our viewers since would agree our original vision has certainly come to pass with our presence on Network Television growing exponentially (with more opportunities to expand every day), and our YouTube and ROKU channels likewise exploding, receiving hundreds of thousands of monthly views.

As reported in the December SkyWatch Magazine, while this growth has been incredible, we have had to throttle components of additional growth (new network affiliations, additional channels, and media outlets) to keep it sustainable, as we face unavoidable limitations on the scope of our operation within the restraints of our current offices, warehouse, and studio facilities. If you have not read the December Magazine report, I urge you to do so as we report on the need to build a dramatically larger studio and YOU can be part of that historic opportunity.

Whereas it is the express purpose of the Great Commission of the New Testament Church to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his teachings to all the nations of the world through local and foreign ministry, missionary work, and evangelism for the purpose of constituting the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, built and established upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone; and whereas Bible prophecy and “signs of the times” are integral to the preaching of the Gospel and will be fulfilled at the Second Coming of Christ; and finally that God Himself ordained His Universal Church to be enjoined in the observation of end-times signs as part of study, counsel and instruction for the work of the ministry and for the exercise of those spiritual gifts and offices provided for in the New Testament, SkyWatch TV has been established as a non-profit organization to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through unique print and visual media.

Solid, learned theological interpretation of biblical prophecy and scriptural insight on issues of the supernatural in our modern world is scarce. From those whose approach to biblical analysis is riddled with inaccurate twists to those who play on sensationalism for attention or increased sales of a product, many today who have serious unanswered questions have so few sources to rely upon for truthful analysis of the Living Word’s wisdom and warnings. Additionally, many churches and Christian media sources overlook or avoid digging too deeply into subjects that raise complicated or controversial questions. As a result, what some believe to be “forbidden” subjects (such as prophecy, supernatural and paranormal events, hot-button international and religious headlines, etc.) are greatly neglected. Today’s seekers of truth—young and old; believers and non-believers (of the traditional Christian faith)—find themselves understandably hungry for answers in areas that the local church may leave pending. As a result, many wind up in dark corners of the Internet seeking answers where they can become vulnerable to deception. Yet the world is seeking, more now than ever, for reliable reflections and discussion of these difficult, yet real, topics.  This, perhaps, is why people are so excited about SkyWatch TV.  But, readers of this article will find it refreshing that delivering answers to hard-hitting questions is not the only goal of SkyWatch TV or its founders.

Starting with our lineup of well-respected veteran broadcasters in fields of prophecy and biblical studies, SkyWatch TV breaks the mold on religious programming as it has been known in the past. While the theology that guides its leaders remains orthodox Western Evangelical, the SkyWatch team boldly takes on unconventional subjects from fields as wide as the genetics revolution to astrobiology—and finds the amazing ways in which God (sometimes through prophecy) addresses complex issues. SkyWatch TV presents this distinctive approach on cable, closed captioned for hearing impaired, as well as broadcast on all major mobile devices.

Studio A—which was built and currently remains the primary studio at this time broadcasts regular week-day programming.

Studio BConstruction of the new, bigger studio in order to both extend and efficiently maintain our Gospel reach is next and is waiting for additional funding. The new studio will allow us to seat up to eight guests at the interview desk, literally doubling our opportunity for guests to contribute commentary…and the most exciting part includes space for a live audience! We can’t wait for the day viewers can mark their calendar, fly to location, and participate in a live taping of the SkyWatch TV program!

Like some high-caliber and celebrated television stations have done in the secular domain, SkyWatch TV regularly features investigative reports and full-length documentaries involving on-location and original field footage and research, delivering what no Christian broadcasting ministry has ever offered before. Examples of some of the latest special investigations include recent Belly of the Beast and Gods of War episodes and the next special report starts in February involving Rabbis, Donald Trump, and the Top-Secret Plan to Build the Third Temple!

Defender Publishing has sought to bring vital information to the public for years, and the public’s response to these endeavors speaks for itself. People yearn to gain further insight and education on subjects most typically unattended by the church, and the staff at Defender are reached out to by hundreds of thousands of people per year with positive feedback about the books and media generated from this unique company. As a result, Defender has decided to expand toward a broader emphasis on cutting edge materials and interviews for an international audience by inviting Donna Howell to take the seat as managing editor of Defender Publishing. Donna has worked for SkyWatch and Defender for years as a ghostwriter and my personal assistant. As former managing editor (and later CEO) of Anomalos Publishing, Donna brings a long list of qualifications to her new position as production manager and writer/researcher for Defender Publishing.

Records show that some of the most highly attended prophecy conferences in North America began as a vision from the current SkyWatch TV founders. Each year, people from all over the nation have travelled far and wide (and on occasion have taken the pains to travel into the United States from abroad), just to be present at these gatherings.  These events have featured some of the most sought-after names among Christian and prophecy teachers.

In 2019, SkyWatch TV is relocating its conference back to where it all began—the beautiful Radisson Hotel in Branson, Missouri. This is destined to be our most timely conference to date, featuring 20 dynamic speakers, a special one day “Back to Eden” convention with experts on natural, organic health and living, and much more. Upcoming programs will provide exciting details but this event will sell out so register soon! LEARN MORE HERE!

Similar to what other major education-based channels have done in the past, SkyWatch TV launched its monthly magazine early in 2015 to explore compelling questions from fields of theology, eschatology, geopolitics, and the supernatural. Now however, based on consumer habits and reader feedback, starting with this issue SkyWatch Magazine will undergo a major revamp that will see the magazine released as a quarterly publication rather than a monthly one. Among other things, this will allow the ministry’s leaders to focus more on dynamic television, documentary film making and timely books production.

As reported in the November SkyWatch Magazine, I recently joined my wife Nita and Whispering Ponies Ranch (WPR) supporters to tour the facility followed by an honorary banquet to report the goals set for 2017–2018 for the camp had been exceeded. Last year’s (2017) sponsors had been presented with an aggressive plan to finish critical infrastructure and buildings necessary to launch fully operational Royal Family Kids Camps in 2018. That vision included: overnight lodging facilities; a large dining hall with commercial kitchen; a gymnasium with climbing walls, basketball court, and a volley ball structure; other indoor and outdoor sports and recreation courts; a large indoor swimming pool; and more—all of which were finished on time and within budget.

Trained counselors use the amenities to help kids overcome fears and anxieties through regaining confidence, while therapy horses are used to help abused children learn to trust again and connect with God and His creation.

This year’s quests were shown a video and slide presentation detailing the numerous specialized camps for abused, neglected, and sex-trafficked kids their donations supported in 2018. There was hardly a dry eye in the room as people expressed deep gratitude for how their donations are being used.

Each year, Nita and I and our staff get the honor of saying “thank you” by inviting supporters to attend exclusive, annual, honorary events including:

  • FREE SKYWATCH TV CONFERENCE REGISTRATION—Next year’s WPR and SkyWatch TV Conference (MORE INFO COMING SOON) will relocate back to where it all began—the beautiful Radisson Hotel in Branson, Missouri. As a WPR supporter, registration to this groundbreaking convention is free!
  • HONORARY BANQUET—“Sponsor a Pony” benefactors are invited to attend a special banquet during the 2019 conference, during which a report will be delivered showing just how donations were used during the year to help those children and adults that need it most. During this invitation-only dinner, there is also a private meet-and-greet with some of the top speakers at the conference.
  • GUIDED TOUR OF WPR—During the Branson conference, an open house will be held at WPR where a restricted tour of the facilities will be available exclusively to WPR supporters.

There is always a good cause to support, and as one of the founders of SkyWatch TV I feel blessed to be part of a ministry that includes charitable giving to those that need it most.

In fact, I must admit that at this time in my life, when watching other TV ministries the question in the back of my mind always is, ‘Yes, but what charity do you support? Are you pitching books and DVDs to fund a lavish lifestyle, or are you a conduit through which God is blessing the most needy’?

I am proud to say at WPR and SkyWatch TV individuals that purchase books and products from the SkyWatchTV Store or make charitable donations to WPR can know with certainty they are making services available at no cost whatsoever to children and their counselors as well as partnering with us to preach the Gospel around the world.

Thank you for all YOU are doing to help with these urgent needs.

Your friend and brother in Christ,
