As reported by Israel 365, Democratic Missouri representative Emanuel Cleaver, a ‘pastor’, recited the opening prayer on the first day of the 117th Congress on Sunday in which Cleaver asked the Hindu deity Brahma for “peace across the land” and inside Congress as well. Brahma is the ‘creator god’ in Hinduism and just in case inviting a Hindu idol to reign over America’s corridors of power wasn’t controversial enough, Cleaver then concluded the ‘prayer’ but illustrating how significantly clueless he is with a politically correct play on the word ‘Amen,’ saying, “A-Men, and A-Woman.”
