One even more controversial claim of discovery is that of Burrow’s Cave (which was actually a series of tunnels with burial chambers and treasure vaults), found in Illinois in 1982. In it were said to have been ancient tablets etched with the hieroglyphs for prominent Egyptian bloodlines dating back as far as Imhotep in 2650 B.C. There were symbols and etchings of Zaphnath himself, along with others that detailed a story of overcrowding in Egypt and migration to a new world that would become the “second land of Egypt.” The Egyptians acquired grain and gold from this land to take back to the homeland for storage. Some showed a boat traveling the direction opposite of Egypt, indicating a new world—the land of Ophir—as its destination. Others exhibited the Ark of the Covenant, which was two hundred years after Joseph, with the connection here being Solomon. And one in particular had three diamonds on it, indicating that the king ruled in three places. The third location was surmised to be the Grand Canyon.
One curiousity was a tripod artifact used for measuring degrees within the stars or in conjunction with sundials and map-making. Stories in the hieroglyphics told of Zaphnath finding the land of Ophir using these tools. The tunnels also contained coins impressed with the image of Zaphnath holding the staff of the Lord, with the sign of the pyramid next to their symbol for the number two, indicating that this was the currency for the second land of Egypt. In this instance, the direction of the boat was facing Egypt, meaning that goods were being returned. Another tablet featured carved symbols indicating that an interim king ruled in Ophir during the permanent king’s travels between lands. Other artifacts of gold referenced such notables as Julius Caesar, Solomon, Arkca III, King Achilles, Alexander Ptolemy III, Mark Antony, Alexander Helios, and many others.
What set this particular case apart from other claims of cave exploration discoveries was its absolute sensationalism. Where other sites may have been rumored to hold a few artifacts linking to one or two personalities in ancient history, this one was brazen enough to boast of more than ten! Analysis of artifact evidence presented showed that if authentic, there seemed to be a mix-matched blend of Native American, African, Egyptian, and European cultures. The tour through this series of mysterious, ancient underground pathways must have been like something out of an Indiana Jones movie.
No less impressive was the fireworks show of opinions on the topic. Those who believed it were scarce but passionate, and skeptics attacked everything from the integrity to political stances of the believers until they became discouraged and quieted down. Russell Burrows, caught in the crossfire of this melodrama, decided that the solution would be to ensure that the world would never know. After destroying the entrance to his cave with dynamite, he sank into the background and is still spoken of in hushed tones. Ground-penetrating radar shows that a cave is indeed below the surface, but unfortunately, the explosion created structural issues that to this day have prevented entry.
Some say he made a lot of money making and selling fraudulent artifacts. Others maintain that he found a wonderful treasure that should be rediscovered. Yet another group ventures to say that he found the real thing, but melted down all the gold and put the treasure in a Swiss bank account. But those who know the man personally say that he is a man of integrity.
It is rumored to this day that many of the artifacts have been proven forgeries, but no one seems to know where they are now. If the artifacts are genuine, then they show a blend of varying cultures dating back thousands of years, and tell a very specific story. And as usual, nobody seems to know where the cave is and authorities have no comment.
Was It a Hoax?
What one must consider when weighing these types of accounts is the measure of authenticity. Sometimes when a story seems too good to be true, it is precisely that. But sometimes, good evidence is as it appears to be: good evidence. As mentioned in the first chapter, many people think of Atlantis as a myth, but new evidence continuously surfaces that Atlantis was probably indeed once a thriving city. Troy was considered a myth until it was unearthed in 1870.
Around the turn of the twentieth century, newspapers everywhere were laden with stories of discoveries of skeletons of giants, all of which now are said to be sheer legends, and the bones of which have conveniently vanished. If these caves truly are artless, empty pathways through the stone underlayment of the earth, then why don’t authorities expose them as such? Wouldn’t the Smithsonian at least have some documentation of investigation? Surely researchers there have an interest in knowing more about such allegations. However, in these cases, they seem to have no comment or record whatsoever. Why?
With modern technology, we have the ability to load a portable document format (.pdf) file and send it around the world within moments. Perhaps the phrase “no comment” becomes the safest way to dispel interest in a matter under current conditions. Isolating and extinguishing documentation is much more difficult than it would have been many years ago, when one hand-typed or handwritten article needed only to fall into the wrong box to silence a story forever.
Of this quandary within the Grand Canyon, author Jen Wolfe of See the Southwest writes:
The Smithsonian shows no records of such an expedition, nor that they participated in any dig of an underground city in the Grand Canyon. However, the Smithsonian has sent many expeditions to explore the Native American ruins throughout the Southwest and in the Grand Canyon. It seems unlikely that an institution devoted to learning and understanding history would hide such a find, and yet, if Middle Eastern or Asian cultures did make their way to North America around 4,000 or so years ago, it would certainly turn the history of our world upside down.[1]
It is also interesting that so many features in the park bear Egyptian names—Tower of Set, Tower of Ra, Horus Temple, Osiris Temple, and Isis Temple, as well as places in the Haunted Canyon with names like Cheops Pyramid, the Buddha Cloister, Buddha Temple, Manu Temple and Shiva Temple.”
Another point of influence here could have been Nubar Pasha, Prime Minister of Egypt from 1884–1888, during an era when Egypt was attempting to assert itself as a strong, independent power once again. After many other international successes, it is rumored that he requested that artifacts from his homeland be returned to Egypt or destroyed, and that the Smithsonian stop reporting on them altogether. The timing of this request is noteworthy since it occurred only a decade before explorers began being silenced. For whatever reason, many alleged Egyptian caves and tunnel entrances located throughout the Grand Canyon are sealed up, with the National Parks Services disallowing further excavation or access.
There is no question that the ancient Egyptians had accomplished much. However, when one looks at the jump in technological understand that this civilization achieved over peers who had just discovered the wheel, one cannot help but wonder if they had a little help. As you will see in the next chapter, this step-up was a giant, supernatural step that could have come only from one source.
Star Alignments
It is a well-established fact that the pyramids of Giza correlate with Orion’s belt stars Mintaka, Alnitak, and Alnilam.
It is believed among Egyptologists that the Great Pyramid was built over a twenty-year period during Egypt’s Fourth Dynasty (2613–2498 B.C.) as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. The conventional understanding also dates the beginning of Egyptian civilization roughly to 3000 B.C. Yet, an amazing recent discovery has challenged the conventional views.
In a stroke of genius, Belgian engineer Robert Bauval and researcher Graham Hancock thought to compare the alignment of the Giza pyramids to known star charts. Looking at the relative time when the pyramids were supposed to have been built, 2500 B.C., they did not find a match. Undaunted, they continued to search into astronomical antiquity and amazingly found an exact match at a point more than five times older than the structures supposed construction.
Using astronomical computer programs, the pair dialed back the skies over Giza to the supposed date of the construction of the Pyramids — 2500 B.C. Disappointingly they could find no match.
But 2500 B.C. was during the astronomical Age of Taurus — represented by a bull. Perhaps they could find a match in the Age of Leo?
Dialing the starfields back thousands of years, Bauval and Hancock were able to find an amazing match — in 10500 B.C., whilst the pyramids matched Orions belt, the Sphinx was looking directly at the constellation of Leo.
10500 B.C marked the dawning of the Age of Leo, and even more astonishingly at that date the pyramids and Sphinx’s position relative to the nearby River Nile matched Orion and Leo’s position relative to the Milky Way.[ii]
Consider the ramifications of this discovery for a moment. Since the Milky Way, our galaxy, only orbits around its center once every 225–250 million years, it is reasonable to think that the alignment of the pyramids to Orion was not for a future date. As such, one can surmise that this star chart alignment correlates to the pyramid’s construction; otherwise, such a construction would be totally arbitrary. If one believes the Bible’s account of man’s creation was 10,000 B.C. on the outside, it appears simply by the star charts that the pyramids of Giza were not built by the Egyptians at all. And if they didn’t build them, who did?
Regardless of this strange piece of information, if you hold to the conventional view that the pyramids were in fact built in approximately 2500 B.C., where would the Egyptians get the skill or technology to build in such accuracy with the stars? To further muddy the waters, there is a correlation between these Egyptian moments and those found throughout the Grand Canyon. Many of those structures match up to star systems as well.
The sky looks downward to find its image made manifest in the earth; the earth gazes upward, reflecting on the unification of terrestrial and celestial.[iii]

EVIDENCE OF NEPHILIM GIANTS & REPTILIANS FOUND AROUND THE WORLD?
More baffling is the fact that the Grand Canyon’s monuments are aligned with the constellation Orion, just as their Egyptian converses across the world do. Those structures are: the Tower of Set, Horus Temple, the Tower of Ra, Osiris Temple, the Isis Temple, and Cheops Pyramid.
Archaeoncryptographer Carl Munck began to study cartographic patterns after retiring from the military in the late 1970s.
He eventually developed THE CODE, which outlines a pattern that he believes ancients used for positioning their structures in alignment with the stars. Of this, CNY Artifact Recovery states:
From THE CODE we get factual, mathematically provable evidence that all ancient sites, megaliths, temples, stone circles, effigies, and certain natural formations and vortexes across the entire face of the globe are very precisely located on a global coordinate system in relation to the Great Pyramid.[iv]
When the author of the above-referenced article tried to attain permission to explore some of the caves near Isis Temple to substantiate claims of Egyptian relics there, he was emphatically denied, the parks service apparently citing endangered bats as a reason that they have completely restricted access to these areas.[v]
There is a similarity in alignment with Salph, Betelgeuse, Belatrix, and Rigel on the Kaibab Plateau at the Grand Canyon as well. While the Colorado River has often been the credited culprit for how the Canyon was formed, many skeptics over the years have felt there could be more to the story. Taking into consideration the monuments’ positioning with the stars, random chance seems removed from the equation and the river begins to look like a byproduct of a much bigger platform.[vi]
If there is merit to the star pattern alignment to the monuments…it makes possible that a neo-formation concept is the basis for the antediluvian model of what appears to be a city, not just a naturally formed canyon.[vii]
Just as everything in the Middle East was built with a star coordinate, each structure built in the western part of the world has an identical coordinate to its counterpart on the eastern side.
The book of Enoch 8:2 says that the fallen angels:
[Taught] astrology…the constellations…the knowledge of clouds… the signs of the earth…the signs of the sun… and the course of the moon.
With that in mind, we could postulate that in addition to being a naturally formed gorge, the Grand Canyon could have been a prehistoric city where fallen angels’ technology was employed.
We also find stellar alignment within the ancestral villages of the Anasazi. If we think of Orion as the hourglass shape, then we find the following alignments occur:
- Betatakin to Oraibi, B.Oraibi to Wupatki, C.Wupatki to Walnut Canyon, and F. Walpi to Canyon de Chelly…are exactly proportional, while the remaining three sides…D. Walnut Canyon to Homol’ovi, E. Homol’ovi to Walpi, and G. Canyon de Chelly back to Betatakin.[viii]
It is said that Masau’u, Hopi god of earth, death, and the underworld, gave a pattern to the ancestral Hopi, or Anasazi, on a series of stone tablets that showed them where to build their villages as they migrated through the American Southwest during prehistoric periods. This revelation taught them how to align their constructs with the stars, and also channels the energy the most efficient way through ley lines between locations. It ensures that each village is connected to at least one other by a solar point during sunrise, sunset or solstice.
CNY Artifact Recovery’s article on these alignments states:
Aside from the obvious question that this arouses regarding how such ancient people could have knowledge of such a system…for thousands of years…there is also the question of how such feats were accomplished with so much accuracy without the aid of modern technology, like our Global Positioning System (GPS) which uses satellite telemetry and computer accuracy to achieve what the ancients accomplished with…what?[ix]
With what, indeed…
Or perhaps the better question is…with whom?

Beyond Earthly Knowledge
Merriam-Webster defines the word “paranormal” as “not scientifically explainable; something supernatural.”
This is a fitting description for the Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt. As you will begin to see in this series, this amazing structure could have only been built by beings with superior knowledge and technology that was not native to the earth at the time of its construction.
After investigating the Great Pyramid, a journey across the planet’s surface will take us to other locations where other supernatural structures have stood for millennia. You will begin to understand the common thread connecting these magnificent edifices and, perhaps for the first time, recognize their ultimate purposes.
However, the first step toward ascertaining these purposes is to evaluate the following evidence and then embrace the possibility that these structures were either not made by human hands, or at the very least, that the builders had supernatural help in building them.
To reemphasize a point in the last chapter, to build these structures, the rudimentary civilizations of early man would have had to possess technological prowess in construction that we, in our modern age, still do not possess.
The Great Pyramid appears to be the oldest of the pyramids in Giza and is constructed far differently than the copies of it in the Nile Valley. It is not, nor has it ever been, a tomb, and no mummies have ever been found in the structure. There are also no hieroglyphs adorning its walls, although there are numerous measurement markings.
The builders of this structure understood engineering, astronomy, and mathematics, and knew all the dimensions of earth. And, in at least one case, the builders saw into the future where a measurement would be needed!
Celestial Precision
At one time, highly polished limestone covered the pyramid and made it shine like a star on the earth. It has been said that it was probably so bright, it could have been seen from the moon. Truly it was a reflection of the heavens, but as you will see, it is even more celestial than that.
The Great Pyramid faces true north with only 3/60 of a degree of error. Although the position of the North Pole moves throughout the centuries, at one time the pyramid was exactly aligned to the pole. It is also at the EXACT center of the earth’s land mass and is perfectly aligned with the four cardinal points of the compass.
If this structure was built during the twenty-second century B.C., as many proponents state, how in the world would they know that this site was earth’s center? It would take astronomical equipment like a GPS to arrive at this exact point.
In 1940, as British pilot P. Groves was flying over the pyramid, he discovered that rather than having only four sides as seen from the ground and with the naked eye, the Great Pyramid is actually a multifaceted, eight-sided object that has a concavity at its core and is indented down the middle of each side in perfect precision. The effects of this construction can only be seen from the air—and especially when the structure’s shadow is cast at the spring and summer equinoxes.
How could the Egyptians accomplish such construction when they did not fly? Even if they knew something about the heavens, how would earthlings know anything about our solar system’s star?
And consider these mathematic revelations: If we take twice the pyramid’s perimeter at the bottom of the granite coffer and multiply it by 108, we get the sum of the sun’s Mean Radius! [270.45378502 Pyramid Inches x 108 = 427,316 miles]. The height of the pyramid times 109 equals the average distance to the sun {5813.2355653 x 109 (1 mi / 63291.58 PI) = 91,848,500 mi}. The Mean Distance to the sun is half of the length of the diagonal of the base times 106. The height of the pyramid multiplied by 109 represents the Mean Radius of the earth’s orbit around the sun {5813.235565376 pyramid inches x 109 = 91,848,816.9 miles}. The Mean Distance to moon is the length of the Jubilee passage times 7 times 107 {215.973053 PI x 7 x 107 =1.5118e10 PI = 238,865 miles}.[x]
A single entrance on the north side opens into a passageway that slopes down 150 feet to the base, from which it descends another 200 feet into the bedrock. On one day in history, the angle of this passageway looking up from the bottom pointed directly at the North Star. If you could have drawn a line straight up from the pyramid into the sky on that day, you would have intersected the exact center of our galaxy. That day was the vernal equinox in 2141 B.C. Such an alignment happens only once every twenty-six thousand years. [xi]
The unit measurement of sacred cubits was used in the structure’s building with a length of 25 pyramid inches. Notches carved into the wall of the pyramid coincide with this measurement and serve as a cipher to decode its dimensions. They also serve for some amazing arithmetic.
If you multiply the sacred cubit times 10 million, you get the polar radius of earth. And multiplying the total weight of the pyramid by 1000 trillion equals the weight of planet earth.
But perhaps the most stunning of mathematical coincidences comes from the very center of the Grand Gallery inside the pyramid itself. Amazingly, we find that the latitude for this location is 29° 58′ 45.28″ N. Written as degrees alone, the latitude is 29.9792458° N. While this number might not be very interesting by itself, consider this: the speed of light in a vacuum is 299, 792, 458 meters per second.
Latitude = 299792458
Speed of Light = 299792458
It is the exact same number![xii]
Add to this that the ancients didn’t use meters. This could only be significant in our modern age! How would the builders of this structure thousands of years ago know that one day we would measure distance in meters?
Could it be that this edifice is no simple structure? Could it be that the ancients used this structure as a gateway or stargate to cross time and space, and this number at the center of the pyramid is specific to these activities?
The mystery deepens.
