Congregants come to church with upgraded hips and knees. They have pacemakers surgically installed. Some even combat their substandard vision via Lasik Eye Surgery to enhance their vision to 20/15, better than perfect, vision. Transhumanism is here. Humanity is evolving beyond its current limitations by way of exponentially increasing advances in science and technology. As a matter of fact, transhumanism is so far along technologically that the famed entrepreneur, Elon Musk, is funding a team of people working on developing functional neural-lace to improve human cognition right now. Moreover, I think it’s important to caution folks not to get too far down the “transhumanism is all bad” road. I say this because holding an overly dogmatic position in a quickly developing technological movement is likely to leave one looking hypocritical in the long run.

In George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984,” the fictional setting of Oceania has four “Ministries” under the figurehead of Big Brother – Love, Peace, Plenty and Truth. The Ministry of Peace actually perpetuates unending wars; the Ministry of Love oversees suffering and torture against those that do not adhere to the Party line; the Ministry of Plenty weaponizes starvation through socialism; and then there is the Ministry of Truth – the propaganda arm of the government media that employs “Doublethink” and “Newspeak” as the official dialectic of the state. Newspeak is the term Orwell invented for controlled language: restricted grammar and limited vocabulary as “a linguistic design meant to limit the freedom of thought – personal identity, self-expression, free will – that ideologically threatens the régime of Big Brother and the Party, who thus criminalized such concepts as “thoughtcrime” contradictions of the English Socialist Party orthodoxy (INGSOC).
CALLING THE HOLLOW EARTH PRODUCERS! Now Astronomers Say We Should “Look Beneath The Surface Of The Earth For Buried Alien Technology”September 3, 2017
Some scientists think the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) shouldn’t be limited to far-flung star systems. Rather, they argue, we should consider the possibility that evidence of intelligent aliens might exist here on Earth, or on one or more of our nearest neighbors in the solar system. These scientists are raising the possibility that another intelligent species lived or visited our cosmic neck of the woods millions or billions of years ago and left behind so-called “technosignatures” — things like radios, rockets, or other examples of advanced technology — that might yet exist deep underground or out in space. – Should We Be Looking for Space Aliens a Bit Closer to Home?
Rabbi Tuly Weisz, founder of Israel365, explains in his commentary on the Book of Genesis, published in The Israel Bible, that Rachel was buried there, rather than in the family plot in Hebron, because years later this would become the side of the road on which the Jews were forcibly marched into exile following the destruction of the first Temple. “At that devastating moment in Jewish history, the downtrodden people found comfort in Rachel’s holy resting spot as she entreated God’s mercy towards His people,” writes Rabbi Weisz. This story is alluded to in Jeremiah’s prophecy: “A cry is heard in Rama – wailing, bitter weeping – Rachel weeping for her children” (Jeremiah 31:14). Rabbi Weisz said that according to the Zohar, the foundational book of Kabbalah, the Messiah will likewise lead the devastated people of Israel along this same path, past Rachel’s grave, as they fulfill Jeremiah’s prophecy.

China and Russia are set to sign a milestone agreement in October on joint space exploration from 2018 to 2022, sending manned missions to the Moon for the first time. The bilateral agreement will cover five areas including lunar and deep space exploration, developing special materials, collaboration in the area of satellite systems, Earth remote sensing, and space debris research. This is the first bilateral agreement to cover a partnership spanning five years. It is to be signed against the background of space exploration race the US is trying to win, so the two partners decided to join the efforts. In February, the Trump administration asked NASA to look into the possibility of manning a heavy-lift rocket mission, expected to be launched in 2018, setting the stage for a human return to the Moon.

40 years after they were launched, Voyager 1 and 2 have traveled farther from Earth than any objects made by humans. By capitalizing on a rare orbital alignment, they were able to visit all four gas giants in the solar system—Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—between the two of them, sending back some of the most iconic views of those worlds ever captured. In August 2012, Voyager 1 entered interstellar space, our first emissary ever to do so, and Voyager 2 is expected to join the 12-billion-mile-high club within the next few years. Both probes are nearing the end of their operational lifespans, and will be switched off during the 2020s. After that, they will sail away from our solar system into the medium between stars, forever, unless they encounter something—or someone—that stops them.
