Elon Musk, head of Tesla, SpaceX and Boring Company, said Early Monday morning that countries competing for advances in artificial intelligence would “most likely” spark World War III. His tweet came in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin saying that the nation that “becomes the leader” in the development of artificial intelligence “will become the ruler of the world,” according to The Verge. The Tesla chief, along with Alphabet leader Mustafa Suleyman and over 100 other founders of robotics and artificial intelligence companies, called on the UN to ban the use of autonomous weapons in a letter written last month, The Guardian reported. “Once developed, lethal autonomous weapons will permit armed conflict to be fought at a scale greater than ever, and at timescales faster than humans can comprehend.

The news Sunday morning that North Korea had launched what appeared to be its sixth nuclear test and most powerful one to date is troubling enough. But a statement from the rogue regime took things to a whole new level. The North said it had tested an H-bomb that was “a multi-functional thermonuclear nuke with great destructive power which can be detonated at high altitudes for super-powerful EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attack according to strategic goals.” This is the first time it has publicly mentioned its interest and ability in an EMP attack, a devastating weapon that could have catastrophic consequences for North America, the West and their closer neighbours.

A rabbinic court, or Sanhedrin, has ruled that a Jew who believes in Jesus as the Jewish Messiah is no longer considered a Jew for purposes of marriage in Israel. This makes it impossible for two Messianic Jews to get married inside the country. “An Israeli couple who are Messianic Jews cannot marry in a traditional Jewish religious ceremony in Israel because they are considered converts to Christianity, a rabbinical court ruled on Tuesday,” according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. It was the first time a rabbinical court has ruled on the issue of the status of Jews who believe in Jesus as Son of God, after a Messianic couple requested they be married in Israel according to Jewish law or “halacha.”

“Wiccan witchcraft is now one of the fastest growing religions in the Hudson Valley,” reported News 12 Westchester in New York. A “third-degree Wiccan high priestess” was quoted as saying the religion is a “mysterious, feminist and nature-focused religion that rewards faith and patience with magic … capable of things like curing illnesses, getting a raise at work and helping people find love.” Throughout the country, there are increasing reports of covens of witches organizing and receiving mainstream acceptance and attention. Salem, Massachusetts, home of the infamous “witch trials” in colonial times, is now a mecca for the occult and a center of an emerging “witchcraft tourism industry.” The women’s fashion magazine Vogue recently promoted a “witchy week” with features on “enchanting altars on Instagram” and “how to have a moon ceremony.”
Astronomers Detect 15 High-Frequency ‘Fast Radio Bursts’ From Distant Galaxy That Could Be “An Extraterrestrial Civilization Powering Exploratory Spacecraft”September 5, 2017
These microwave radio pulses are from a mysterious source known as FRB 121102* in a dwarf galaxy about 3 billion light years from Earth, transmitting at record high frequencies (4 to 8 GHz), according to the researchers. First detected in 2007, fast radio bursts are brief, bright pulses of radio emission detected from distant but largely unknown sources. Possible explanations for the repeating bursts range from outbursts from magnetars (rotating neutron stars with extremely strong magnetic fields) to directed energy sources — powerful bursts used by extraterrestrial civilizations to power exploratory spacecraft, akin to Breakthrough Starshot’s plan to use powerful laser pulses to propel nano-spacecraft to Earth’s nearest star, Proxima Centauri.
666 UPDATE: Mexico’s Banking Authority To Begin Causing All Both Small And Great To Be Biometrically ScannedSeptember 5, 2017
Mexico’s National Banking and Security Commission (CNBV) has issued a new regulation requiring all banks in the country to implement fingerprint scanners for clients within the next 12 months, reports Riviera Maya News. Banks will be required to scan all of an individual’s fingerprints at the time of account creation and also for loan and credit card applications. The biometric data will then be matched against records held by the National Electoral Institute in an effort to confirm the individual’s identity. For services transacted online, banks will be permitted to use facial and speech recognition technologies for identity verification purposes.
