If you’ve ever tried to get to the bottom of what your gifting might be, you’re probably thinking you’d be wealthy if you had a dollar for every time you were directed to 1 Corinthians 12:8–10. It’s true that this passage is a terrific place to start. However, our modern Church is now so familiar with the passage’s list of spiritual gifts that if you don’t immediately feel a connection to it (especially as a new believer), you may begin to question whether you have a spiritual gifting at all. But the Bible is clear that the Holy Spirit equips all members of the priesthood for service, and He will not send a priest or priestess of His Church out to minister without the power needed to be efficient in that calling. So what are some of these other gifts?
